Morocco is a land of contrasts. From the exotic city of Marrakesh to the Desert at M'hamid; the Kasbahs of Ouarzazate to the Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains.
Many travel agencies offer you the possibilities of Morocco, but we are different. All Treks are accompanied by a Scotpeak guide, a Berber Mountain Guide and support team. Scotpeak's package includes a days walking in Scotland prior to trekking, in order to meet the other members of the group and assess what you require for the trip.
This combination brings the best experience with the security of a UK business and the un-paralleled knowledge of local Berbers who have worked all their lives in the mountains and desert of Morocco.

Scotpeak offers a number of trekking holidays of 7 days duration throughout the year.
Available treks:

Trekking in the High Atlas - Mount Toubkal, the Highest Mountain in North Africa (4167m). Climbing it does not require a high level of experience.
Trekking in the Middle Atlas - Lake Tours and Jdel Tazzeka.
Trekking in the Jbel Sarhro, Dades Gorge on the foot hills of the Sahara Desert.
The beautiful valley of Ait Bougoumez - Deep in the heart of Berber country, in the High Atlas Mountain. These routes are not demanding and pass through a variety of striking landscapes.

Included in the price:

Transfers from the airport to the hotels and back.
Transfers from Marrakech to the starting points of the treks.
Local Berber guide, cook, muleteers and a Scotpeak guide.
Mules on the mountains for baggage, free travel bag.
Full board during the trek.
2 nights Hotels accommodation in Marrakech, Bed & Breakfast.
Trekking accommodation in mountains hut or tents.

Exclusions:

Bottled water and another drinks.
Tips for hotel, restaurant and trekking staff.
Holiday Insurance.
City tour of Marrakech.

N.B: for the desert trekking, the transfers will be done by 4x4.

The cost for a 7 day Trekking trip, excluding flights is approximately £450 per person. (Flights to Marrakesh are very cheap, Scotpeak can arrange flight through a travel agent ).
